 The title for this skein of handspun is quite a heady one.  The Turquoise Trail read about history here and The Silk Road read about history here are thousands of miles apart both geograpically and historically.

This skein of yarn is made up of all the bits and pieces of fiber (yarn,
 locks, fleece, ends of fabric and yes pieces of string) that have 
accumulated in my studio. When I spin one of these yarns I realize how 
ingrained it is for me not to waste anything. And, there is another

Sometimes I feel a little guilty when I spin a pretty yarn.  After all shouldn't I be striving for sophistication, uniqueness and "slick".

Yesterday was my day off. 
Taking a day off is a new adventure for me and I must admit it has been
